ICED EARTH Forced To Cancel Dates In Chile, Argentina, Colombia
January 20, 2010U.S. power metallers ICED EARTH have issued the following update:
"We regretfully announce that we will not be able to perform at the previously announced dates in Chile, Argentina and Colombia due to circumstances out of our control. We are working very hard to be able to visit these wonderful places in the near future and will be announcing it right here when that time comes."
ICED EARTH's final 2010 South American/Mexican tour dates are now as follows:
Jan. 30 - Monterry, Mexico - Café Iguana
Feb. 02 - Mexico City, Mexico - Bulldog Café
Feb. 04 - Belo Horizonte, Brazil - Lapa Multshow
Feb. 06 - São Paulo, Brazil - Via Funchal
Feb. 07 - Curitiba, Brazil - Master Hall
ICED EARTH's most recent full-length studio album, "The Crucible of Man (Something Wicked Part II)", sold 6,700 copies in the United States in its first week of release.
"The Crucible of Man (Something Wicked Part II)" continues where ICED EARTH's 2007 release, "Framing Armageddon (Something Wicked Part I)" left off. "The Crucible of Man" features the return of frontman Matt Barlow who was mainman/guitarist Jon Schaffer's original voice of choice to introduce the "Something Wicked" saga back in 1998 as a trio of songs which concluded their album, "Something Wicked This Way Comes".
